Newborn Baby Clothes for Charity

Gabriella received so many newborn baby clothes that we did not know what to do with them anymore. Many were left in their original packaging. Some of the newborn baby clothes Gabriella received were only worn once. Our next child was Roberto so many of the newborn baby clothes were not gender appropriate. My sister suggested that we put the newborn baby clothes on sale. It was a good suggestion because as I said, many of the clothes were brand new. However, my husband and I decided to donate the newborn baby clothes to charity instead. We went to see our local priest Father Mark and asked him where it would be best to donate Gabriella’s clothes. Father Mark said he actually visits a nearby orphanage every week. He would be glad to bring the newborn baby clothes there. We gave Father Mark the bag of clothes and thanked him for helping us out. He said that he should be the one thanking us for our generosity.
